When initiating a Timbuktu Exchange session from Windows NT or 2000 or XP, you do not see the contents of a folder on your local machine in the Exchange window.
- Right-click on the folder that you are having problems with.
- Select Properties.
- In the General tab, click on the "Advanced..." button.
- Make sure this is checked: "For fast searching, allow Indexing Service to index this folder."
- In some cases if this is checked "Encrypt contents to secure data.", you can also experience the anomaly
If "For fast searching, allow Indexing Service to index this folder." Is unchecked in the Advanced folder properties, you will not see the contents of a folder on your local machine in the Exchange window.
