Viewing a mouseless Windows host from a Mac guest

Situation:

When attempting to Control a mouseless Windows host, a Mac guest will not be able to see the mouse in the remote desktop window. Since Timbuktu Pro 2000 build 827, a feature for viewing a mouseless Windows host is possible from a Windows guest only. This feature has not yet been implemented in the Macintosh version.

Solution:

At this time there is no solution in Timbuktu Pro itself that will allow you to view the mouse. This is a feature request that we are tracking and hoping to have implemented in a future version of the software

However, there is a customer recommended, 3rd party application available that will allow you to see a mouse even though no mouse is attached to the host. This application is a mouse emulator that runs on the mouseless Windows host. This will "fool" the system into thinking that a mouse is attached. Now when Timbuktu Pro queries the system about a mouse, the Windows OS will reply back stating that a mouse is attached. This application is freeware and can be found at the following URL:
