The last two items in the Commands Menu may not display on a Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0 Administrator. This technote describes how to access those menu items.
A Windows 95 or NT 4.0 Administrator with a screen resolution lower than 1024X768 will not display the last two items, "Gather Process Information" and "Gather Software Changes," in the Commands menu.
Since the Commands menu is extensive, if the resolution is too low, the menu extends past the bottom of the screen. Windows 95 and NT 4.0 will not allow the user to scroll down if the menu is too long. Windows 98 will allow the user to scroll down to the bottom of the menu.
There are two options for resolving this issue:
-
Increase the screen resolution to 1024X768.
OR
- Select your computers in the Computers Window and right click. From the Commands submenu, choose the required command.
Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0 will not display the last two items in the Commands Menu if the display is lower than 1024X768. The workaround is to increase screen resolution or use the Commands submenu to select these items.
