Following are tips for speeding up your RC sessions. These procedures must be done on the Host (controlled) computer.

1. Configure Timbuktu Pro on the host system to hide the desktop wallpaper. This is located within Timbuktu Pro in the Setup\Preferences\Control\Observe menu.
2. Reduce the desktop resolution and number of colors on the Host computer. To do this, right-click on your desktop and choose Properties. Then, click on the Settings tab.
3. Disable the Windows Active Desktop feature on the host. To do this, right-click on your desktop and choose Properties. Then, click on the Web tab.
4. Turn off full window dragging capability on the host. To do this, right-click on your desktop and choose Properties. Then, click on the Effects tab.
5. Disable transition effects for menus on the host. To do this, right-click on your desktop and choose Properties. Then, click on the Effects tab.
