IPX /SPX Networking is no longer a supported feature of current models of Netopia Hardware. The last firmware version that supports IPX would be in the R-Series routers v 4.8. Do not upgrade your R-Series router beyond 4.8 if you plan to continue using IPX. Netopia routers only support IP routing. It is possible to backrev the firmware, but this is NOT recommended by Netopia support, and will not be covered under warranty should such action damage or disable the router. (This will revert a router back to factory default as well.) Thank You.
