AppleTalk Networking is no longer a supported feature of current models of Netopia Hardware. The last firmware version that supports AppleTalk would be v 4.8.2 in the R-Series routers. Do not upgrade your R-Series router beyond 4.8.2 if you plan to continue using regular AppleTalk. Netopia routers only support IP routing. If you have upgraded your firmware beyond that point, it is possible to backrev the firmware, but this is NOT recommended by Netopia support, and will not be covered under warranty should such action damage or disable the router.
