TER/XL VPN Acceleration Module for Heavy-duty VPN

Netopia's VPN Acceleration Module can be added to Netopia's expandable R-Series routers, except for the R910 model. The Netopia VPN Acceleration Module equips Netopia routers with a dedicated VPN hardware accelerator that performs the computationally intensive task of processing multiple layers of encryption and decryption required by 3DES IPsec. This enables the data routing engine to maintain optimal data throughput performance, while providing the highest level of data security for multiple VPN connections.
