- Timbuktu for Windows has been written specifically for Windows 7, XP and Vista operating systems. This new version of Timbuktu will communicate with older versions of Timbuktu Pro on both Windows and Macintosh computers.

- Timbuktu Pro 8.8.3 ONLY supports Mac OS X 10.6 or higher including the new Mac OS X 10.7 Lion
- Users of Macs running Mac OS X 10.5, 10.4, as well as Intel and PowerPC based Macs should download Timbuktu Pro 8.8.2
- Version 8.8.3 is compatible with Mac operating systems including, Mac OS X 10.7 - 10.3 and Mac OS classic and is available in the downloadable CD image for 8.8.3
